Why these competitions? They are kept in Europe's absolutely wildest and most beautiful mountain landscape and are the most extreme mountain races in the world.

Sean Montem from Montem.training has been selected to start at Tor de Geants 2019👏🏻 This is the world’s hardest & toughest Endurane Mountain trail run /foot race. 356K and +D 27000m in less than 150 HRS.

Underestimating the physical and psychological preparation required, as well as the appropriate clothing and equipment, can have dangerous and potentially life-threatening consequences!
If you are considering taking part, it is therefore imperative:
to be totally aware of the unusual length and peculiarities of the race;
to be thoroughly prepared, both physically and mentally;
to have equipped yourself before the race for total self-reliance in the mountains, so that you can manage any problems involved with this type of endurance trial, in particular:
coping alone and in isolation with the physical and psychological problems of extreme fatigue, gastro-intestinal upsets, muscle and joint pain, minor cuts and injuries, etc;
managing altitude and weather conditions that could potentially cause extreme difficulty - darkness, high wind, freezing temperatures, fog, rain and snow - without any help; understanding that the organisation is not responsible for helping runners to manage any common issues that might arise and that with races like the Tor des Géants®, across mountain terrain, your safety depends on your own capacity for self-management in extreme situations.
TOR DES GEANTS HISTORY
The race and its history: Tor des Géants is a 330km incl D+24.000m ultra trail which takes place all over the Aosta Valley, Italy, in September, with its start and the finish at Courmayeur. The course must be completed in less than 150 hours, counting on over 43 refreshment points and among them 7 life bases, which allow full services to the runners, inclluded a much needed place to sleep for the popular runner, while the elite get by on along three days hardly stoping for a nap al tall.. The completion rate is about 60%.
Around 2000 volunteers are used to organize the race. Due to the alpine condition of the course with a race summit at Col Loson ovr 3.300m weather is an additional obstacle to be very much counted upon, with temperatures dropping at some points below -10ºC. As they travel, the competitors can encounter sun, rain, wind, and even snow. Over the years, mountain conditions have greatly influenced the race.
The goal is nothing - The road is everything
A good time at Ironman Hawaii is only available with the perfect diet and sports nutrition. Although one is a super experienced triathlete with a PT who has been in training for many years, Montem.training can make a difference. Peter Frank has chosen our online sports nutrition coaching with PT online basic, where all the coaching takes place via skype and where gradually make changes in his diet.
In this coaching zone, we create a diet strategy for more experienced triathletes who want to improve their performance.

As a long-distance triathlete, I need to optimize everything that can be optimized at all to reach my ultimate goal, Kona Hawaii. Not only that, it must be done in an easy way so that my everyday life can be linked to both family, work, training and, not least - diet.
Montem.Training helps me with the diet and in just 2 months I have lowered my fat percentage from 14% to 11% without having gone beyond my energy and well-being. At skype-conversation, Helle has managed to turn on the right parameters in my diet so that it is tuned correctly to my needs. The good thing has been that only small things are targeted from week to week, which makes the transition clear in a busy day. Helle is good at explaining the reason for the changes in an easy and understandable way and then sends material that I can nerd with if I want a little further down the detail. I feel safe with Montem.Training, and am sure that with their help I will hit my optimal combat weight and energy level before my next race "Challenge Roth", if I then reach my ultimate goal it must done by myself and my training

What does the triathlon athlete say about us
As a timelimited athlete we always seek, the small margins to improve performance, and prevent injury´s.
Last year i was struggling with injury´s, and balanced my training on the edge all year. Therefore this year my goal, was a strong and healthy body, did not focus to much on the bodyweight, but more focus on a healthy and strong body.
Therefor i started working with Montem.training towards Ironman South Africa, my plan was IM Worlds again 2019. My way to succes, was through consistent training, without injury´s and just logging the sessions day after day. The nutritional plan worked, Helle made the plan, i did the hard work.
